Swamp Spore Society Meetup

Alright y’all, next Swamp Spore Society meeting is happening Wednesday, June 25th from 6 to 7:30 PM over at 6101 Johnson St., Lafayette (same big meeting room as last time).

Last month we had 12 folks show up, including a couple of new faces who inoculated grain jars—and even a father and son duo who’ll be coming back this week to move theirs to substrate. Love seeing families and friends getting into the groove.

If you wanna get some hands-on experience growing mushrooms, we’ve got supplies available for $25. You can pay cash or Venmo at the meeting. Totally optional—plenty of folks come just to hang out, watch, and learn.

Families are welcome. We’ve had couples and parent-child teams at past meetings, and it’s a great way to learn something new together. So if you’ve got a kid at home and you’re curious, don’t feel like you need a sitter—bring ‘em along.

It’s a chill night to talk fungi, meet people, and build some local myco-community. Room holds 60, so we’ve got space. Let me know if you’re coming!
