Finger Knitting 101
Ages 5–7
3-Week Course
Led by Miss Kate of Kind Hands Design Co. Finger Knitting 101 is a gentle, hands-on introduction to the world of textile arts—perfect for tiny makers who love to create with their hands. Designed for absolute beginners, this 3-week class introduces kids to the calming, rhythmic joy of finger knitting using chunky yarn and simple techniques.
Young artists will learn how to loop, weave, and stitch with their fingers to make colorful wearable creations while building fine motor skills, coordination, and confidence. Each week builds on the last, ending with a fun mini project to show off their new skills!
This class is a wonderful foundation for future fiber art classes like our beginner crochet course—and can be repeated to continue growing skill and community.
