This event combines the power of breathwork, reiki, sound healing, and somatic integration to help you release tension, deepen your connection to yourself, and promote overall well-being. Allison is a trauma informed and licensed (LMFT) somatic psychotherapist, EMDR practitioner, reiki master and breathwork facilitator.

What type of Breathwork? Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) is a breathing technique where there are no pauses between the inhale and the exhale, creating a circular breath. Through this process we increase oxygen levels, which helps boost endorphins. We reduce blood flow to the amygdala and pre-frontal cortex, which can help reduce fear and stress responses. With continued practice, CCB can increase serotonin and dopamine levels. Overall, CCB helps us expand our self- awareness.

Practicing Conscious Connected Breathwork changes our physiology by:

• lowering our heart rate and reducing cortisol levels
• improving nervous system regulation
• balancing levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the blood
• increased feelings of calm and ease
• letting go and releasing past trauma that is stuck in our body

Sound healing can assist in the breathwork process by altering brain waves. It can also:

• Lower heart rate
• Improve sleep
• Reduce stress, anxiety and depression
• Improve over-all mental health and well-being
• Deepen the spiritual process

Light touch and reiki will be utilized to help enhance your experience and clear the space.

Sound healing and breathwork together can help increase self awareness, reduce stress and tension, improve concentration and relax the body.

What will be provided:

• Clean pillow, blanket, & yoga mat to relax on. If you need extra pillows or blankets, please feel free to bring them.
• Complimentary eye pillow (to take home with you) if you have your own, feel free to bring it
• Tea
• Integration and processing after the session

How to prepare:

• Please do not eat a heavy meal prior to the event
• Please No alcohol or other mind-altering substances prior to or during the event (refraining from mind altering substances 24 hours prior to and after event helps with breathwork integration)
• Drink lots of water before and after the event. Bring a water bottle.

During the session you may experience a range of emotions including sadness, grief, or joy. Visions, imagery, and insights may arise. You might also experience physical symptoms such as tingling, warmness in the body, or cramping in the body (tetany) .

Please know this will be held in a safe environment where everyone is welcome. Allison will help support and guide you along this journey to deepen self awareness. The group will have time to integrate and process which is an integral part of this session.

It is mandatory to sign a waiver prior to the breathwork session to ensure everyone’s safety. The waiver will be provided at the event.
