Join us for a hands-on, skills-based session designed to prepare medical students for dermatologic procedures commonly encountered during clinical placements and internship. This introductory workshop will cover the fundamentals of skin procedures - the shave biopsy, punch biopsy, and local anaesthetic infiltration.
As future doctors, you’ll be expected to approach procedures like cannulation or catheterisation with confidence—and dermatologic procedures should be no different. This workshop is all about making sure you're ready when you're inevitably asked to perform a biopsy on the wards or in clinic.
Led by experienced clinicians, this practical session is ideal for students across all years who want to build procedural competence, improve their surgical skills, and gain insight into dermatology in real-world hospital settings.
