Hi, Campers!
Are you ready for a forest-side creative adventure? Join us for the third annual Brush Up Retreat! This year, we are bringing you artist Tracy Newcomb, owner of the Rhapsody Art Barn.
Tracy will be teaching a highly focused technique-based project. The outcome will be a creative framed resin mixed media piece. You will delight in learning mixed media techniques, and learn to use Pentart, Roycycled Decopauge papers, Posh chalk, DIY, resin, and many other mediums that translate to endless creative options.
Have fun earning "badges" for each technique mastered. Brush Up Retreats are just that, a retreat into the private setting of Meandering Maker Mercantile's working creative space, where deer, chipmunks, and a few beverages are just part of the daily creative process.

If you have ever wanted to try IOD Inlays, transfers, moulds, crackle, resin, mixed media all those little jars of goodness you see people use and never know how or what - this is YOUR chance to come away feeling confident and creatively inspired!
The $250 non-refundable camper tuition includes your supplies, two lunches, and snacks to keep your creativity levels fueled!

Thursday Night - Welcome reception and a self-led crafting project
Friday - Get to it, Tracy leads us on a creative adventure. This will be a full day of step-by-step instruction and fun. Lunch is provided. Adventure out for dinner- we have been known to group up and hit the town together, or stay by the fire and marshmallows and relax!
Saturday - Tracy will continue to move into the next project steps and ensure everyone is confident in the new technique and ready to forge ahead in creativity! Lunch is provided
Saturday evening we celebrate put on your dancing shoes and we will chat and snack at the Wayside Bar on campus while the band plays. BYOB and a snack to share!
