Field Trip - Hidden Murals of SDSU

Come join the San Diego County Archaeological Society on Sunday, August 24th for a free tour of the hidden murals on San Diego State University campus. The tour will be led by Shannon Farnsworth, who did her graduate dissertation on the history and archaeological importance of how these art pieces reflected the changing cultural landscape of the university and the greater San Diego area from the 1930’s to the 1970’s.


The tour is open up to 30 people. We’ll meet at 11:00 am at the dome entrance to the Malcom A. Love library. The tour will last for approximately 1.5 hours, so wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water as it will likely be warm.
