Welcome all good gentles to the Barony of Calafia for our annual Arts in the Park Demo! A day where the guilds, artisans, and households of our barony showcase the diverse aspects of the SCA via various Arts and Sciences displays.

Our theme this year is "Superheroes versus Villains", this is a great opportunity to create or modify your garb or armor gear to look like your favorite superhero hero and villain. Comic Con doesn’t end for us! Costume contests will be held and judged by our own super couple of Calafia, Their Excellencies. The categories are best garb as a hero, best garb as a villain, best group in themed garb.
Guilds bring your best arts and sciences that best represent your interests and talents. Let’s give our populace a reason why to join your amazing guilds!
At the battlefield, the warbands of the Iron Brigade and the Steel Brigade will be holding practice to demonstrate their martial prowess on the field. Our incredible war bands with the best hero or villain theme, such as the X-Men, Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, Justice League, Legion of Doom, etc. will win a prize.
The young fighters of the Tin Brigade will also be showing their prowess and skills.
Arts in the Park is open to the public, and no registration cost is required to attend.

Event starts at 10 am
Event Ends at 3pm
Tear down should be finished by 4pm.
Restrooms not available on site after 3pm.
