Get ready to rev your engines and ride for a cause at the 4th Annual Southern Maryland Gold Star Legacy Ride on Saturday May 24 2025. This is your chance to honor our nation’s heroes support veterans and enjoy a memorable ride with the American Legion Riders of Post 82 in La Plata Maryland.

This ride isn’t just about the road—it’s about the men and women who’ve served sacrificed and given everything for our country. We ride to pay tribute and to raise funds for critical programs that support veterans and their families. Whether you're a local or a visitor this is one ride you won’t want to miss.

• Ride for a Cause: Your participation will support organizations like the American Legion Veterans and Children Foundation Warfighter Advance and our local veteran assistance fund—helping those who have sacrificed so much.
• A Ride with Purpose: Since its start the Gold Star Legacy Ride has raised over $80000 funding scholarships for children of fallen and disabled service members and supporting vital programs for veterans in need.
• Scenic Route & Grand Finale: The ride takes you through beautiful Southern Maryland ending with a celebration at the Harry White Williams American Legion Post 82 featuring music food drinks raffles local vendors and more!
