Opening event for Grounded 2 Exhibition

Join us at the opening event on Sun 31 Aug at 2-5 to celebrate the beginning of our exhibition season. ‘GROUNDED 2’ is an art exhibition at Trio Art Studio and Gallery in Kyneton from August 31 to September 21. It features handmade contemporary and vintage studio pottery and glasswork inspired by European and Asian traditions. Visitors can explore three gallery spaces showcasing diverse ceramic techniques, including raku, wood, gas, and electric firings. The exhibition focuses on themes such as plant resilience, original glazing, and textured surfaces, some created with seashells. Alongside richly coloured ceramics, there are various sculptures that challenge traditional forms and bring contemporary ideas to the artworks. The extensive array of work in the Vintage gallery showcases an eclectic group of affordable items. The dynamic nature of the exhibition and the fresh perspectives that new artworks bring to the gallery emphasises the value of revisiting the gallery to experience the evolving collection and the stimulating conversations it inspires.
