Kris Mizzi
With a voice that is both strong and tender, Melbourne singer-songwriter Kris Mizzi has earned his place among Australia's most captivating folk artists. A masterful storyteller, Mizzi crafts songs that linger long after the final note, weaving beauty, truth, and vulnerability into every line. His live performances are a kaleidoscope of emotions—joyful, uplifting, spiritual, comedic, and deeply moving.
Fresh from showcasing at Ireland’s prestigious folk conference, Your Roots Are Showing, and performing on the revered Danny Kyle Stage, Mizzi continues to leave an indelible mark wherever he plays. Musicians and fans alike have hailed him as a leading voice in Australian folk.
Emily Jane Pritchard is a Naarm/Melbourne-based indie folk artist whose songs unfold like pages from a well-travelled journal — intimate, reflective, and powerful. Her voice moves between heartachingly sweet and ruggedly raw, blending folk, blues, soul, and early grunge influences. A romantic realist with a gift for emotional nuance, she writes with honesty, humour, and deep curiosity. Her debut single, Never Ending Holiday, reached #2 on the AMRAP Metro charts and offers the first glimpse into her forthcoming EP produced by James Seymour (Merpire, Mathilde Anne). Pritchard is a striking new voice — grounded, mesmerising, and unmistakably her own.
Jo Yang is a Naarm based Chinese Australian poet, high school teacher and education podcast host. She was the 2022 Australian Poetry slam champion, and loves writing for its honesty, heart, and space to be a silly, goofy human being.
