Kuranda, swap the rainforest soundtrack for some proper foot-tappin’ live tunes this Sunday as Peter “Kinchy” Kinch rolls in with his guitar, his grin, and a songbook full of classics. Kinchy’s a seasoned muso who’s done it all, from tearing it up alongside Aussie rock royalty like Cold Chisel, The Angels, Mental As Anything and Rose Tattoo, to playing the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, and even gigging on cruise ships across the globe. These days, he’s based right here in FNQ, bringing his mix of blues, rock, pop and smooth jazz to the best beer gardens, cafés and festivals around.
