The state capital of Kuching is a vibrant city full of delicious eats and culture waiting to be discovered that you simply cannot miss out on. It is also known as the starting ground for explorers of nature.
Kuching is surrounded by majestic mountains and breathtaking rainforest within national parks where intriguing and endemic Bornean flora and fauna make their home. It’s practically paradise for outdoor and wildlife enthusiasts!
◾EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:
✓Mount Santubong, Santubong National Park
Is the second tallest peak at 810m recommended for experienced hikers and physically fit. The trail is populated with rocky river crossings, 45 degree slopes, makeshift stairways of overgrown roots and rocks to be climbed via knotted ropes, and series of steep steel ladder climbs.
At the summit is a breathtaking rewarding view of the wide Santubong river and Kuching city.

✓Bako National Park
Bako National Park is located on the island of Borneo, and is the oldest national park and is most famous for its interesting sea stacks and rock formations produced by coastal erosion over millions of years.
Bako National Park offers a wide variety of habitats, from beaches to jungle trails, and is perfect for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. Bako National Park's undisputed star is the proboscis monkey, known for its distinctive, oversized nose and endearingly comical pot-bellied figure.
Teluk Paku trail is relatively flat, short and easy. It offers one of the best opportunities to see the park's wildlife. The trail finishes at a beach is home to a colony of proboscis monkeys living in the trees above.

✓BATU SELABAT @ 219m + WATERFALL LEISURE HIKE
Bukit Batu Selabat is mostly famous for its hill and for its waterfall. Giant boulders are scattered all around the hills. The hike up is not challenging and the panorama is breathtaking and with some clouds in the sky
