Het gratis zomerfestival MOVE THE CITY is weer in aantocht. In dit jaarlijks terugkerende, gratis zomerfestival MOVE THE CITY geven de culturele instellingen uit de binnenstad een Alkmaarse wijk of dorp een weekend vol theater, workshops, kunst, muziek en ontmoetingen cadeau. Ook maakt en presenteert de buurt samen met het festival verrassend programma. In 2025 is dat in Graft / De Rijp 4 t/m 6 juli.
