Publicly open and free-of-charge music workshops that concentrate on the field of jazz and improvised music. Led by music professionals, vocalists and instrumentalists with pedagogical experience.
Each of the 6 music workshops will focus on one specific instrument (or group of instruments, like drums).
An additional 7th workshop will focus on the use of 360 VR and Dolby Atmos technology in music, providing a unique learning opportunity for those interested in music technology.
Music professionals from both Poland and Iceland will share their views, practice, music knowledge, and stage experience, covering not only strictly music-related topics but also strengthening competencies related to entrepreneurship, the functioning of artists in the market, and dealing with the music business.
360 VR (spherical) video will be used to record the workshops, to have material for each participant to confront and have a sophisticated, but handy tool for professional improvement (both in terms of up-levelling the technical, strictly musical skills, as well as improving stage presence and interaction).
WORKSHOPS ARE FREE OF CHARGE.
THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS IS LIMITED.

ADVENTUROUS MUSIC PLATEAUX
The events are part of the Adventurous Music Plateaux project, which aims to expand the possibilities of music export and audience engagement through advanced spatial audio and video tools. This project utilises some of the latest trends in the field, such as Dolby Atmos sound and 360 VR video. AMP enables remote access to music content and promotes innovative methods of music export, particularly related to live performances. The project creates new opportunities for distributing music that transcend the physical presence of musicians and their performances at concert venues. In doing so, AMP addresses key challenges in the contemporary music ecosystem, particularly the development of music export through innovative promotional strategies for artists and their works across borders. It also engages in tasks related to digital technology, including adapting, testing, and implementing existing solutions in the music sector, as well as training European specialists in their application.
The action “Adventurous Music Plateaux – expanding export capabilities of music content and audience involvement through the use of digital tools and recordings (Dolby Atmos and 360 VR)” is co-funded by the European Union as part of the LIVEMX project.
Views and opinions expressed are, however, those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union and therefore the European Union cannot be held responsible for them.
