Thakurbarir Ranna

KCC is here with Thakurbarir Ranna – a culinary workshop steeped in the rich food heritage of the Tagore household. As a precursor to Rabindra Jayanti, this hands-on session will revive the gastronomic traditions of the Tagore household and recreate dishes once served in Jorasanko. Led by a culinary historian and practitioner Subhajit Bhattacharya, familiar with the rhythms and tastes of bhadralok kitchens, the session unfolds the cultural memory and intricate details that shaped Tagore’s palate and poetry alike.
