Thakurbarir Ranna

KCC is here with Thakurbarir Ranna – a culinary workshop steeped in the rich food heritage of the Tagore household. As a precursor to Rabindra Jayanti, this hands-on session will revive the gastronomic traditions of the Tagore household and recreate dishes once served in Jorasanko.

Led by a culinary historian and practitioner familiar with the rhythms and tastes of bhadralok kitchens, the session unfolds the cultural memory and intricate details that shaped Tagore’s palate and poetry alike.
