JFK50 Course Preview and Group Long Run

Join the More Miles Run Coaching team and Run Squad on a point-to-point group long run along the Appalachian Trail section of the JFK 50 Mile.
We will meet as a group at the Weverton Rd. parking lot at 6:30am, and carpool to the Old South Mountain Inn parking lot.
The run will begin here at 7:00am. (Runners are welcome to meet here and provide their own transportation back if preferred.)

Please comment if you are able to help carpool, and how many can fit in your car!

This route is approximately 13 miles point to point, with water pump access at Gathland State Park, roughly halfway. Please plan accordingly and carry plenty of fluids and fuel! Find the downloadable route map in the comments!

This is a great opportunity to use your car as an aid station, and extend your route down to the C&O Canal for a longer run and a practice on the transition between surfaces... we expect most runners to take advantage of this!
