Brunswick Area Walking Group

Walking is a great way to increase your fitness, boost your mood, and improve the quality of your sleep.

We meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings near the playground at Othello Regional Park. We will begin walking promptly at 9:05 AM. Everyone is welcome to walk at their own pace and the distance that meets their personal goals. If you walk the paved trails following from the playground and head towards the stables, up the hill and back to the parking lot the distance is approximately 2 miles.

Amenities: Paved trails. Benches along the route. Restrooms available.

In the Event of Rain: We will meet to walk on the next scheduled date.

Walking in the heat: If you do choose to walk, wear loose fitting, light colored clothing, wear a hat to keep the sun off your face, drink plenty of water. Always follow your doctor's guidelines.

Directions: Take the first left inside the park and follow the road to the end. The playground is on the left side of the parking lot
