Wings of Remembrance

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, a time to honor and remember the little ones gone too soon. Please join us at Pioneer Park from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. for Wings of Remembrance, a special gathering to celebrate and remember the angels no longer with us.

At the event, families will be invited to create a lantern in memory of their baby. Pre-lit lanterns will also be on display to honor all children remembered that evening. Each family will receive a tea light to take home and light as part of the global Wave of Light on October 15 at 7 p.m.

If you would like to take your lantern home, you are welcome to. If not, we will keep it safe and relight it on October 15 in your baby’s honor.

This event offers a gentle space for reflection, connection, and remembrance, supported by Humboldt General Hospital.
