The 3rd Annual Studs and Snotlings Team Event for Warhammer 40k!
This is a 8 Golden Ticket event awarded to the winning team in BCP according to swiss scoring and will be a 5 Round (3-2), Teams of 8 Players duking it out in a WTC style team event! It will take place at The Crowne Plaza at 105 King Street East Kitchener, ON N2G 2K8, Canada! Ontario on September 20th and 21st.
Registration will be $1239+tax (roughly $1400) for a team before July 1st with an option of registering one non-playing coach (and sub with a submitted list) at no cost. You can register for the event on the Warspeed Distribution Home Page:

June 21st and after the ticket price goes to $1400+tax for the 8 man team and the latest date for a Refund will be July 21st, 2025 (but tickets are transferable)
PLAYER PACK:
Player pack will be designed and posted once WTC has posted theirs, but terrain will be using WTC layouts with the Stud or Snotling terrain (the foldable terrain and using WTC rulings)
CODEX AND FAQs
We will be using the most recent and available WTC FAQ (if any), otherwise in game rules will be the most recent release of FAQs and Codices up to the Thursday 1 week before the event (September 11th, 2025), new Codecies without a FAQ in time WILL be allowed at the event to play as much 'current hammer' as possible. However the 'FOMO' boxes with no codex or no MFM point update will NOT be allowed unless the codex releases BEFORE the cutoff date.
LIST SUBMISSION
All lists will be due to be submitted by 11pm EST the Sunday before the event (September 14th, 2025). Teams will then have 48 hours to check over lists (we will assign teams for every team to check for ease), any lists found in error will need to have the least amount of adjustment needed to make it legal. After the 48 hours lists are locked and considered legal for the event. Any late submissions result in a battle point penalty for the player (or team depending on severity) in their first game of the event.
VENUE AND HOTEL
The Venue will have a cash bar, coffee and tea stations as well as Lunch both days included in the ticket price, these are box lunches that each team can decide on before the event (lunch options will be listed in the player pack). This venue is a hotel and will have rooms set aside in a block for the Studs and Snotlings Warhammer Tournament, we will expand the block once filled but book fast, tournament is on the second floor of the hotel (we have the entire 2nd floor booked)
Parking
Parking in downtown Kitchener is a pain and can get expensive. We are happy to say that even if you are not staying at the hotel, when parking in the hotel parkade the Stud or Scrub team has worked with the venue and will have parking vouchers for players that parked there each day at no cost to the players.
