WAF34: Kissimmee 6 & 10K Walk

Enjoy an easy, go at your own pace walk, sanctioned by the American Volkssport Association (AVA), in historic downtown Kissimmee. Walk fee is $4; free for kids if not participating in AVA achievement programs. If not preregistered, register for the walk from noon-3 p.m. Finish by 5 p.m. Water and candy will be provided at the start/finish and checkpoints. Carrying water is advised.
Participants follow walk directions and maps provided at the walk start. The route goes by family-owned businesses, shops, restaurants and special events catering to a variety of tastes. Walkers will pass historic buildings around Main and Emmett Streets and go along the recreational walkway adjacent to Lake Tohopekaliga ("Lake Toho") with many parks and open spaces.
