Almondell Country Park & Lin's Mill Aqueduct Evening Circular

Overview
Step into the past and soak up the beauty of Almondell Country Park as we follow the Union Canal’s historic water supply route to the striking Lin’s Mill Aqueduct.

This scenic walk takes us along riverside paths (which may be muddy after rain), climbing a flight of steps to cross the aqueduct, before looping back along peaceful country lanes.

Along the way, we’ll uncover fascinating tales of the canal’s once-bustling wharf, the story of local plague victims, and the legendary William Wallace, one of Scotland’s national heroes.

For car share please meet in Livingston North Railway Station car park (Glasgow Side) EH54 8EG

The walk will start from the Almondell Country Park North car park just off Roman Camp Road. EH52 5PE
