Festival of Ideas Special Edition: Adam Smith Heritage Trail

Step back in time with us during this Festival of Ideas weekend for a Special Edition of our popular Adam Smith Heritage Trail.

On this guided walking tour, you’ll explore key historical locations connected to Smith’s life and legacy in Kirkcaldy – from his birthplace to places that inspired his work. Along the way, you’ll hear fascinating stories from the 18th century and get a deeper understanding of the world that influenced The Theory of Moral Sentiments and The Wealth of Nations.

The tour lasts around one hour and this special edition begins at Fife College main entrance and finishes at the Adam Smith Heritage Centre.
