This free event is designed to support any car owner to feel more confident about how to keep their car well maintained by learning about some essential vehicle management skills.and what to do if something goes wrong.

It will also help to address the overwhelming technical jargon many car owners face when discussing car repairs with garages.

It is a practical event with hands-on educational sessions about making car maintenance easy, more accessible and less intimidating. The evening will also provide a number of road safety information to support drivers with what to do if involved in a road traffic collision or breakdown, plus lots more information around road safety.

The FREE event is a collaboration between Safer Communities and Your Ford Centre in Fife. Working with others partners like Police Scotland and Scottish Fire and Rescue to support the local residents of Fife to feel more confident around vehicle maintenance and road safety.

Main messages would be:

· Encouraging weekly routine checks on your vehicle

· How to check your tyres and change if needed

· Vehicle warning lights

· What to do if in RTC

· What to do if your car breaks down

· How to deal with blue lights when driving

· Various road safety messages
