Sheepfest – Farfield Mill Events

Sedbergh Sheep Fest is returning. This is an amazing day festival of everything sheepy!!

Come along to the Mill and find out about the textile heritage of the Yorkshire Dales and Sedbergh. Studio artist Suzie Wright will be in her studio creating her lovely ceramic sheep. There will be fun creative activities and a sheepy theme trail around the Mill. There will be demonstrations of carding, spinning weaving and lacemaking on level 4.

On Level 2
Stick the tail on the sheep
Make a sheep fridge magnet
Have a go at linoprinting a Sheep card

Level 3
Guess the weight of the sheep
Sheep Breeds Quiz
Making a woolly sheep

Level 4
Spinning and weaving demonstations
Matching the fleece to the sheep breed
