Newbold Verdon Christmas Lights Switch On

Lantern parade starts from the Pavilion at 5.45, arriving near the tree in time for the switch on at 6pm – all welcome and kits to make lanterns will be available to purchase.

Lights to be switched on by Dr Luke Evans MP assisted by the Deputy mayor of HBBC

There will be stalls and activities and a BBQ at the Scout Hut

Music from the NVCCC, brass band and barrel organ at the scout hut and outside the shops on main street.

The road will be closed between 3pm and 8pm and there will also be a fun fair.

Food provision includes a BBQ at the scout hut,
mulled wine, hot chocolate and baked potatoes at Liberteas,
tea and coffee at the Baptist Chapel.
