Honey & Native Pollinators Plants

It is a triple header day for me at the market! I will have my native plants and the Lenoir County Master Gardeners will be there celebrating pollinators at a National Honeybee day event. In addition to my excellent local honey and native plants I will provide a display of native pollinator plants. Did you know the resources that provide the most abundant resources are often the trees and shrubs?

It is also time to be considering your fall plantings! Perennials, shrubs and trees all do best when planted in the fall or late winter in our area. If you have not done a soil test yet, it is a good time!

The triple header - I have my native plant nursery and I am co-leader of our local Native Plant Chapter - I am a proud Lenoir County MG - and a local beekeeper in Kinston's Neuse Regional Beekeepers club!
