Curious about camping but not sure where to start? Join Powell Gardens and WildHERness for a beginner-friendly overnight!

This hands-on experience is designed to help you build confidence and learn the basics of outdoor overnight stays in a safe, welcoming environment. Bring your own tent and gear, along with any food you’d like to cook over the campfire. We’ll cover fundamentals like how to set up camp, fire safety, outdoor cooking tips, and staying comfortable outside.

Whether you’re brand new to camping or just need a little refresher, this is a great opportunity to spend a night under the stars and connect with others who are also learning! Come with questions, curiosity, and a sense of adventure—we’ll take care of the rest.

This event is open to women aged 18+ and families (minors must be accompanied by adult).
