Sourdough does not have to be confusing. With the right guidance, it becomes joyful, easy, and approachable.
Yes, a loaf takes about 24 hours from start to finish, but most of that time the starter is fermenting into a beautiful, bubbly levain and the dough is resting while you sleep, go to work, or go about your day. Your actual hands-on time is less than 20 minutes. Once you know the rhythm, sourdough slips naturally into your busy life.

In this class, you will learn how to make sourdough fit into your schedule, not the other way around.

And here is something most people do not realize: a sourdough loaf at a bakery costs $10 or more, often $12–14 if it is whole grain or freshly milled. When you bake at home, the ingredients cost about a dollar. Flour, water, and salt. That is all it takes. Once you know the method, you can fill your kitchen with bread that would cost a fortune to buy.

In one hands-on day, you will:

🍞 Mix, shape, and score your own artisan sourdough bread
🍕 Make sourdough pizza dough, then bake and enjoy your own pizza lunch in class
🌱 Learn how to keep a sourdough starter alive without it taking over your life
✨ Finally understand inclusions, bulk fermentation, hydration, and all the other “mystery words” of sourdough
đź’ˇ Leave with tips, tricks, and confidence that make sense

What You Will Take Home
