SAMHIAN SABBAT!
Join the New Wiccan Church – Canada (Kingston) in celebrating the Samhain with an open ritual and pot luck feast!
Doors will open at 6:00pm for socialisation and set up. Ritual will start promptly at 7pm.
Come in through the front outer doors and inner doors, and place outdoor footwear in the trays provided at the front door.
You’re welcome to bring indoor footwear for your comfort.
Gather downstairs in the kitchen. The Summoner will bring everyone and into the ritual space.
Feel free to bring ritual robes to change into. You are welcome to wear your ritual robes and regalia. However, it is no way a requirement.
The room is small, so please keep your athame at home.
it's BTW wiccan based ritual, with chanting, possibly holding hands in circle. Any questions or potential need for accomodation, reach out to the host, and we'll see how we can help
Feast will directly follow the ritual.
Please ensure that you bring your own reusable plate, cup and cutlery to partake in the feast.
When bringing a feast dish to share, please label it.
You don’t have to write the recipe but the ingredients, so those with food allergies or dietary restrictions can make good choices.
At the venue, feast should be restricted to finger foods that do not need to be heated. As we have limited use of the venue kitchen.(fridge & microwave available)
