Like an ice cube melting in a glass of lemonade, “Keep Me Free” is a recipe for summertime gladness. A little bit Modest Mouse with a dose of Destroyer in its compressed beats, keys and staccato lyrics, “Keep Me Free” cruises along true to its title in mood and meaning.

Fresh and unruffled, the song is the work of Peter Dreams, the all-brand-new solo project of Peter Dreimanis (July Talk), featuring fellow new arrivals MOONRIIVR. With “Keep Me Free,” Peter Dreams introduces himself anew with an unexpected and compelling sonic pivot that promises much more to come.
