Lindy Hop 101 Workshop /w Kofi Arthiabah and Liz Kennedy

Join QSDC and special guest instructors from Ottawa, Kofi and Liz for this one-day wonder dance workshop. After learning the fundamentals of lindy hop, a joyful, rhythmic, improvised partner dance done to the big band jazz tunes of the 1930s and 1940s, participants will be ready to hit the social dance floor

10:00 AM - Jazz dance foundations : musicality and movement

11:00 AM - Solo jazz dance... But together

12:00 PM - Lunch break

1:00 PM - lindy hop fundamentals

2:00 PM - Jump for Joy aka Lindyhop
