At Bethesda House, we are dedicated to providing young mothers and their babies with a safe, supportive environment where they can escape homelessness and begin building a brighter future. We offer a comprehensive program that includes housing, childcare, parenting support, essential life skills, and education and/or a path to employment.
As part of our mission to provide comprehensive support, volunteers at Bethesda House assist with babysitting and transportation for our residents. Your involvement will make a significant impact in helping young mothers pursue personal goals, attend appointments, and access necessary resources, all while ensuring their babies are well cared for in a safe, loving environment.
BABYSITTING
Our team of babysitters provide loving and attentive care to infants and young children in our home, giving mothers the opportunity to attend to their personal needs, education classes, job search, employment or participate in essential programs.
TRANSPORTATION
Volunteer on our transportation team provide rides for mothers and children to appointments, such as medical visits, job interviews, childcare programs, or community resources.
VOLUNTEER TRAINING
Attend one of our two hour informational/training sessions to learn more about Bethesda House and the opportunities to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young mothers and their children. There is no volunteer commitment when attending a session.
