DDQIC Ignition Café: QFII & Build2Scale

Connect with like-minded innovators, change-makers and experts from Queen's, Kingston and the surrounding region at the Ignition Café! Hosted by the Dunin-Deshpande Innovation Centre at Queen's (DDQIC), Ignition Café is Kingston’s go-to monthly meet-up for anyone looking to meet like-minded change-makers, share ideas, collaborate and foster meaningful connections.

For this month's Ignition Cafe, we are thrilled to announce the opening of two of our programs, supporting a new group of changemakers: the Build2Scale Life Science program and the Queen's Founders and Innovators Initiative (QFII).

Starting this January, participants will have 8 months to either start a venture from scratch or scale an existing early-stage startup.

Through DDQIC's program, participants gain access to award-winning, internationally recognized entrepreneurship training, mentorship from industry experts and entrepreneurs, and the opportunity to unlock seed funding to grow their ideas.

As you progress, you'll continually pitch, developing your skills to unlock more and more seed funding, culminating in our Annual Regional Pitch Competition!

Join as an individual or as a team, with or without a specific venture idea — all you need is the drive to build something great.
