(The Guardian).We are proud to announce that Peter Bruntnell is bringing his band to The Sound Lounge, Sutton on Friday 10th February for a special show, the first in a series of four exclusive Friday gigs taking place in February, April, May and June.Peter Bruntnell secured his place in the Americana Hall of Fame following the release of his brilliant 'Normal For Bridgewater' album in 1999. Described by the NME as "like a diabolic pact between Uncle Tupelo and The Eagles," 'NFB' is regarded as a seminal slice of Americana and not without reason. Bruntnell is a songwriter par excellence and his 10 albums since 'NFB' proves that once you've 'got it', it never goes away
