2. In-Hand young stock (3 years old and under) – Pony. Handlers must be over 16 years old. Open to fillies, colts and geldings.
3. First Ridden Pony (May be led) Riders 12 years old or under. Mares and geldings only.

RING 3
Class 31 Horsemanship/Obstacles session with Tricia Henderson from Equine Therapy Ltd. NB Pre- Entries Only
In hand or ridden, 20-minute slots. Only 6 slots available on a first come first served basis. Slots available between 10.00 a.m and 2.00 p.m.
Within the 20-minute time slot, participants will be coached through the obstacle course and, if time allows, will be given the opportunity to attempt the course independently and be given individual feedback.
All participants will receive a rosette.
Open to all rider/equine combinations for horses/ponies. Pre – entry only £20.00 per rider.
ENTRY FEES
Entry Fee: £10.00 per class beforehand or £12.00 on the day of the Show. Fun classes £5.00. Cash or cheques on the day of the show. Postal /email entries close Wednesday 23rd July 2025. Rosettes 1st to 6th place in all classes.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. The Committee reserves the right to cancel or amalgamate and split classes if necessary.
2. Classes are only open to mares, geldings and colts/fillies, i.e. no stallions permitted.
3. All horses and ponies must be up-to-date with all relevant vaccinations.
4. Correctly secured riding hats/ skull caps which are approved BSI standards must be worn when mounted, whether a competitor or not.
5. Colts may not be led by any Junior who has not attained their 16th birthday before 1st January in the current year.
6. Horses/ ponies must be ridden at walk except in the designated warm-up areas.
7. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
8. The Judge’s decision is final.
9. No competitors shall enter under a Judge who has owned, sold or received financial gain from that horse/pony.
10. All competitors and spectators will attend at their own risk. Neither the organisers or landowners will be in any way responsible for any loss, damage or injury that may happen to exhibitors or their assistants, nor any member of the public or to any animal, vehicle or property brought onto the showground.
11. Cups and trophies are perpetual and it is up to the competitor to ensure their safe return to the Show Secretary 4 weeks prior to the next year’s show. Cups and trophies are engraved at the winner’s own expense.
12. Inappropriate language or behaviour will not be tolerated towards other people or animals, and persons responsible will be asked to leave the showground.
13. No unattended horses / ponies to be tied up.
14. All haynets must be kept inside trailers/lorries. No haynets are permitted to be tied up outside trailers.
15. Any Covid rules in place at the time of the Show must be observed.
16. Acceptance of the above provisions will be a condition of entry.
17. Excessive use of the whip will not be tolerated.
18. No spurs allowed.
19. All outdoor sessions will be subject to weather conditions on the day.
