KHPC Mini ODE

KHPC are delighted to announce our 1st Mini ODE! Happening this weekend, this event is aimed at younger and less experienced members to compete in a 2-phase event. Competitors will complete a dressage test and then move to another arena to jump a course of show jumps and XC jumps in 1 course. The combined score from dressage and jumping is the final score for each competitor and the lowest score/faults wins. Some exciting prizes as well as some spot prizes on the day. This is very much a fun event aimed at our younger and less experienced members to combine some of the skills they’ve been learning this year, from lead-rein to 70cm.

Lead rein class is for any members who need an adult in the arena with them, whether thats just running beside them or actually leading. No help allowed in arenas that are not lead rein classes.

Note: This is for those members who have never completed in a One Day event before and to get a feeling of what it's all about. It's not an occasion to school young ponies/horses.

€5 of all entries are being donated to the Irish Cancer Society. We will also have a BBQ on the day 😊 looking forward to a fun event. Entries now open to other clubs on https://www.itsplainsailing.com/org/khpc
