Meet outside St Mary's Church
Parking on street or Childe Road Parking behind The Talbot
c.5.5 miles.
up path between Church and Hall cross Childe Road to Langland Road, and first right on The Hurst to Ron Hill Lane. Left then right on path to Furlongs Road and forward then left on Furlongs Close. At end down steps and along path to Ron Hill Lane, right then continue straight then right and cross River Rea on footbridge. Turn right and continue through riverside meadows to gate Goes left, then turn right uphill. Carry on until footpath on left, which leads downhill, with extensive views, to footbridge to cross River Rea.
Turn right and proceed uphill, bearing left then right passed brick-walled Gardens and up to Mawley Hall, with views back acrossCleoburyMortimer. .
Turn right and then left along stone walls. This track proceeds down past Hall lined with trees. At bottom, carry on to right to reach Weir. Cross River Rea again via footbridge then uphill a d through stable yard to road. Turn right for c.300 yards, then at bottom of hill go left and immediately right across stream and up through trees. Over stile, then up grassy slope to top with view of crooked church spire and town. Carry on downhill and emerge on Lion Lane back up to Kings Arms for refreshments.
