Perfect Days

The 2023 film Perfect Days isn’t about trying to find your way to ease in the workplace and serenity in the evening. Wim Wenders’ loving portrait of a public toilet cleaner in Tokyo is about finding the pathway to joy in our everyday–no matter what we are doing.

Winner of the ’23 Cannes best actor award for his performance, Koji Yakusho plays the part of Hirayama, who cleans the city restrooms for a living. The painstaking attention to detail that he takes in his work are the echo of a heart centered on finding peace in simplicity. But as the film unfolds, it becomes clear that Hirayama isn’t just a hard-worker–he’s a man of respect, honour, tenderness and wisdom.

And, as well as vouchers available for a 20% discount for pre-movie meals at The Hill, The Noble is offering movie-goers a two-course dinner at $35 per person (bookings by 6pm).

All tickets $12 each pay by cash or card (no fee) or you can buy a non-expiring 10 Tix card for just $100.
