Textile artists of Western Australia – we want to hear from you!
Arts Narrogin invites expressions of interest for 'Shades of Blue – Beyond Indigo', a curated exhibition exploring the colour, concept, and power of indigo.
This exhibition will run from 3 – 24 October 2025 and is timed to coincide with Fibres West, held during the first week of October at the Narrogin Agricultural College.
We welcome submissions from artists of all skill levels. Open to all mediums, but with a focus on textile-based practices. Both individual and collaborative works are encouraged.
Your work might explore the colour indigo and its associations, pigments and dye processes, botanical, historical or cultural significance, abstract or symbolic connections, or the common use of indigo for instance in denim or cotton clothing.
🧵 There’s no requirement to use actual indigo dye—just a meaningful response to the theme.

✅ Open to WA-based artists
✅ $20 entry fee per artwork
✅ Multiple submissions welcome (1 form per work)
✅ Final artwork details due: 9 September, and artwork delivery on 30 September.
✅ Exhibition runs: 3 – 24 October
✅ Opening event: Wednesday 8 October, 2.00pm
