-Snorkel or Dive Among 500+ Coral Trees – Experience the magic of an underwater coral nursery! See endangered staghorn and elkhorn corals and various boulder corals that are growing and getting ready for out planting on the reef
- Learn & Take Action – Get an insider’s look at Mission: Iconic Reefs and discover how we’re restoring reefs in the Florida Keys.
Mission Iconic Reefs has the goal of restoring seven iconic reefs across the Florida Keys using these corals to help to restore the reefs!
-Optionally: Earn a Specialty Certification – Complete the PADI Project AWARE Coral Conservation Specialty and turn your passion into purpose!
📅 Schedule:
📍 7:30 AM – Orientation at Rainbow Reef Dive Center
📍 7:45 AM – Snorkel or Dive Check-in
📍 8:30 AM – Depart for the snorkel/dive adventure in the nursery
