UKE ON THE WATER – YES, IT’S ‘STEAMING MUGs’!
Morland Ukulele Group are proud to announce that Ullswater Steamers have kindly given us the opportunity to host a charity ‘round the lake’ cruise , and it will take place on the evening of Friday 13th June 2025 on the very fine Motor Vessel ‘The Raven’.
So, as the days get longer, the nights grow shorter, and the evenings stay about the same length but just shuffle along a bit, thoughts turn to what joys summer may bring. What better way to spend a midsummer evening than being gently transported around the most glorious of Cumbria’s lakes, getting all picnicked up and having a glass or two from the bar whilst the wistful musical stylings of MUGs and The Rhubarb Thieves float through the balmy evening air to tenderly embrace your sun-kissed earholes? No better way, that’s what.
Tickets are limited, so booking early is essential if you want to guarantee a place. Tickets are only available though the MUGs ‘Ticket Office In A Tub’, so PM or contact the email on the poster to arrange ticket purchases. Also, bring a bit of cash as there will be a classy raffle (none of those mouldering bath cubes or semi-evaporated bottles of Clan Dew – we hope!)
