This is a strenuous challenge and a long day in the mountains that should only be attempted if you consider yourself a fairly experienced hiker with a decent level of fitness.

Meeting Instructions
The meeting point is in the car park below Latrigg. Below is a direct link to the meeting point with a W3W just incase (full address below). The meeting time is 7am with hope to set off for 7:15am. Once arrived, you will need to read and sign a waiver.

BAD WEATHER?

WHAT TO EXPECT?
The Skiddaw 7 event is reserved for people with a good level of fitness and is used to hiking at least 12 miles over rough, rocky terrain. This event should take around 9 hours to complete. The Skiddaw 7 is a mountain route with a mix of rocky terrain, grassy paths, steep ascents/descents. If you have any medical conditions, please let me know beforehand.
CAN I ATTEND ON MY OWN?
Absolutely! 90% of our participants are solo hikers and adventurers. We pride ourselves on getting together like minded folk to create laughs, memories, and friendships! So there's no need to feel worried about your first experience, or indeed trying a new type of outdoor activity, with us.
IS THERE A TIME LIMIT?
We recommend 7-9 hours, which is adequate for the majority of participants. We do our very best to accommodate the speed of the group we are leading, whilst providing the encouragement needed to complete the challenge.
TOILETS?
There are no toilets at the meeting point.
