Join Laura for a morning of creativity to make a 30cm drum shade!
You can add a feather flourish or fun coloured pom poms if you wish. If you want to make your shade to match your décor please bring your own fabric.
Students will learn how to make a beautiful bespoke double sided lampshade suitable for a standard lamp or ceiling light. You will cut your fabric to size, role the shade and learn the art or ‘tucking’ the fabric to get a neat professional finish.
You will have the chance to experiment with embellishments to add some fun to your shade (please bring your own if you wish to match to your décor)
Please note there is a material cost of £20 payable to the tutor on the day.
Your are required to bring along a minimum of 20" x 40" piece of fabric and double this for a double sided lampshade. However there will be fabric available to be purchased on the day if you don't bring your own.
