Grand Rapids Marathon Training Kickoff

Join us for an energizing and community-focused evening as we officially kick off training season for the 2025 Grand Rapids Marathon! Hosted at our 28th Street Gazelle Sports location, this special event is designed to inspire, connect, and equip runners of all levels as they begin their fall marathon journey.

We’re excited to be partnering with Brooks Running for this kickoff celebration. Brooks will be on-site with demo opportunities for the new Ghost 17, offering participants a chance to test the latest in comfort and performance footwear on a 5k route leaving from the store. Pending final confirmation, attendees may also have the exclusive chance to try out the new Hyperion Max 3. Plus, enjoy giveaways with qualifying Brooks purchases!

To keep the energy high, we’ll be serving up complimentary appetizers and drinks throughout the evening, creating the perfect atmosphere to mingle, learn, and get motivated.

We’re also proud to feature a live session of Injury Wise with Dr. K, where runners can gain expert insight into injury prevention, performance longevity, and overall training wellness. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and get actionable advice from one of our most trusted partners in health.
