We’re excited to begin building the Gathering Garden (formerly known as the Healing Garden) at Oakdene Park Community Garden, and we need your help!

Join us this [insert date] at 1:00 PM as we break ground on this meaningful new space — a garden rooted in Mi’kmaw tradition, designed to nurture healing, reflection, and community connection.

✨ Special Guest: Mi’kmaw Elder Carolyn Landry will open the event with a traditional blessing to honour the land and spirit of the garden.

The Gathering Garden is a collaborative vision that weaves together traditional Mi’kmaw medicines, symbolic plants, and teachings rooted in the Medicine Wheel and Seven Stages of Life. It will be a sacred space for all — built with the community, by the community.
