Stan Hywet Goodyear Concert Band

On August 11, 2025 at 7:00 pm the Stan Hywet Goodyear Concert Band will present a free concert in the air conditioned Sanctuary of the United Methodist Church of Kent, 1435 East Main Street in Kent. Ohio. The program includes a variety of numbers including marches and concert band standards. The one-hour program will be followed with a Reception in Pierson Hall featuring root beer floats.

This continues a long standing concert series that started over 20 years ago. The band performs two concerts at the Church each year, one at the Christmas Season and a Summer Concert. A Free-will offering will be taken.

Many members of the band are Kent residents.
