+ Learn the Fun, Easy Game of Toss & Fetch
If you've always dreamed about playing frisbee with your dog (who hasn't) and want to learn the basics of the amazingly simple sport of Disc Dog, now's your chance. Grab your pup and come to a K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch clinic with K9 Frisbee Worldwide League founder Mark Vitullo on Saturday afternoon September 20 at 11 a.m. on the back soccer fields in Silver Lake Village Park.
FAMILY FRIENDLY, DOG SAFE ENVIRONMENT
If your dog is high-drive and loves playing fetch, we’ll help you and your family teach it to catch a frisbee in no time, so bring your kid(s), too.
BEGINNERS WELCOME, NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED
If you're worried about your frisbee throwing skills, or lack thereof, we'll give you some coaching and proper techniques so you and your family can start playing Frisbee with your dog -- they'll love you even more for it.
Mark will also provide hands-on instruction and techniques for experienced players to learn how to set your dog in motion, time your release, and throw farther and straighter to help you and your dog play safely, become more successful and have more K9 fun.
Finally, you'll learn the rules for playing K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch and everyone will get to play a couple of practice rounds on an official League field with their dogs.
If you don't have your own discs we'll have plenty of practice frisbees on hand and new ones you can purchase. All you need to bring is:
-- a dog(s) on a leash
-- a long, 30' line if your dog's retrieve still needs work
-- water for you and your dog
All this in about 3 hours and it’s FREE -- it's really that easy (and a lot of fun once you get into it).
Comment below with your dog’s name to let us know in advance if you're planning to attend.
Walk-ups are welcome.
