Anyone who has played in at least one K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch Season in the past 12 months is eligible to compete in this year’s Worldwide Championship on Saturday, September 6 where each Team will play three 60-second rounds of K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch in a 1-week, worldwide competition.
This year’s Northeast Ohio Regional Championship will be hosted by the Ohio Disc Dog's Akron K9 Frisbee Club at the field in Silver Lake Village located behind the Village Hall and Police Station at 2961 Kent Rd., Silver Lake, OH 44224.
EVENT SCHEDULE:
8:30: Gates Open
9:00 -- 9:30: Late Registration
9:40: Players / Volunteers Meeting
10:00: Competition Begins
Competition will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday morning and most likely run till mid/late afternoon.

On Saturday, September 6, not only will we be competing against 100’s of Clubs and thousands of Teams around the world, but we’ll also crown NE Ohio Regional Champions, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each of the 3 Divisions: Expert, Master, Handler & Junior.

If you plan to play, please pre-register before September 3 so we can organize Worldwide Championship scorecards for everyone.
Preregistration fee is $20 for a person' 1st dog, $10 for a 2nd dog, with a 2-dog limit per person. Junior Registration is $10 per dog.
Pre-Registration ends Thursday, September 4.
• The 7th Annual Worldwide Championship where all qualified League members and their dogs, from 275+ Toss & Fetch Clubs, in 15 countries, are eligible to compete.
• Open to League members only -- To be eligible, a Team (handler & dog) must have played at least three weeks in at least one League season in the previous year.
• Club Champions and Individual Team Champions will be awarded Regionally by local Clubs and Worldwide from the League after the event..
K9FT&F WWC COMPETITION FORMAT:
For the Worldwide Championship (WWC), all K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch rules apply EXCEPT play will be on a lined field with an automated timer and all teams will play three (3) sixty-second rounds where all catches count. 3 Judges are required for all rounds.

In the WC format, only the top 8 scoring “A” Teams on a Club’s roster will earn Club Points, leveling the playing field between large and small Clubs.
Handlers may compete with multiple dogs, but only the top scoring “A” Team per handler will be eligible for Club Points and Individual Team awards. All Teams, however, will be ranked.
Teams may only represent a Club for which they’ve played in the previous 12 months.
All Teams (handler & Dog) will be ranked by their cumulative three round scores, plus Division handicaps of:
+ 15 points for Handlers & Juniors
+ 7.5 points for Masters
Tiny Dog's earn 1 TD Bonus Point per catch.
ROLLER Teams WILL be eligible to compete for Club Points.
The Best 8 unique "A" Teams on each Club will be awarded Club Points, AND the "Canus Magnus" patch regardless of where they finish in the Overall Individual rankings.
🥇🥈🥉INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION BY DIVISION🥇🥈🥉
Teams will compete for 1st through 6th Place WWC Medals within their Divisions: Expert, Master, Handler, or Junior.
In the WWC format, there are no limits on the number of Teams an individual Handler can enter, as long as they’re eligible.
All Teams (handler & Dog) will be ranked by their cumulative three round scores.
All Teams run by a handler will be ranked, however, only one dog per Handler, the top-scoring Team, is eligible to score Club Points and for Individual awards.
WWC Awards
1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place WWC Regional medals will be awarded.
The League will mail out WWC patches and WWC Awards for Clubs to Club Captains.
"TRAVELING RULE" IN EFFECT
Anyone who is eligible can play at any of the WWC Regional Competition Sites.
Pick one closest to you or travel to a place you'd like to visit and compete.
Wherever you play, you'll be representing your home Club in the worldwide championship competition.
