Our next meeting and Lights On! 25 Awards Ceremony will be on the 20th of June at the regular time of 7PM. This meeting will combine both the Lights On! 25 Awards Ceremony, where we'll officially announce the Best of Show and category winners, plus we'll hand out prizes to those who attend as well as our Iron-Brewer, which just happened to randomly be selected for low SRM beers.
We'll be meeting at the regular location Allgrain Brew Supply 6644 S 196th St Suite T102, Kent, WA 98032.
The Iron Brewer challenge was simply "Low SRM" so the entries are pretty open.
We have Beerstock coming up soon to talk about, as well as the Kent Hop Picking Festival which is looking to be a lot bigger this year.
Next month we'll be sampling the BOTFly, and with that we'll need someone to sign up for the July BOTFly. This Friday however we will be sampling the results of our Low SRM Iron-Brewer. This also means we will need two more people or teams of people to take on the next Iron-Brewer challenge and compete against the low SRM challenge winner. Win or not the club will subsidize your Iron-Brewer efforts as long as you bring your best effort to the competition…along with the receipts.
Bring a friend, some homebrew, maybe a snack, socialize with everyone, sample some beverages, and have fun. See you soon!
